Booths and Vendors

EATS & DRINKS

We’re thrilled to welcome The Borscht Belt food truck as our featured food provider, serving up classic New York Jewish deli favorites for purchase with a modern twist all day long. Guests can enjoy fresh-steamed pastrami and corned beef, brisket and hot turkey sandwiches, Reubens and Rachels, cold deli specials, and sweet treats like chocolate babka, rugelach, and Junior’s cheesecake—plus Dr. Brown’s sodas and special-flavored egg creams. The menu also includes thoughtful plant-based options, with a vegan and gluten-free “fresh steamed” entrée and a vegan dessert available, so everyone can dig in.

Additional vendors will be providing samples, sweet treats, and specialty seltzer-based drinks:

Brooklyn Seltzer Boys, a Diamond Siphon-level SeltzerFest sponsor, returns to offer what many consider the best egg creams in New York City, with proceeds going to the Brooklyn Seltzer Museum (which they co-founded and house).

Peter Pan Donut is an old-school Brooklyn bakery with counter seating for donuts & pastries, plus shakes & egg creams. Come sample bite-sized samples of their famous donuts!

Hank Schwartz's Delicatessen & Appetizing is an award-winning pop-up Jewish deli in Jersey City offering a modern and seasonal menu inspired by traditional dishes and the entire Diaspora. They will be selling light foods and drinks, including a variety of egg creams (including one of last year’s winning recipes from the 2nd National Egg Cream Invitational).

Kugelahs is fun, kid-friendly, and colorful. Come shopping for a noodle kugel cook book and book kugel baking classes.

Babka Bailout bakes babkas in many different flavors, all which pair well with seltzer!

SeltzerFest’s inspiration BagelUp promotes bagels and the people, culture, and history behind New York's iconic food. Returning in 2026, come nosh bagel samples as they share information about how they bring New York's bagel culture to life through unforgettable, hands-on experiences.
ACTIVITIES & SHOPPING

SeltzerFest producer The Brooklyn Seltzer Museum brings its expanded travelling exhibits and activities back to Industry City for the day. Come learn about the 2,400 year history of seltzer water. Play games. Watch videos. Hold thick-glassed siphons. Spin the wheel for a prize! And watch for their mascot, Spritz the Siphon, roaming among the booths, along with other entertainers, such as performer Jon Koons and others.

The Workers Circle, a Sparkling Silver-level sponsor of SeltzerFest, is a social justice organization that powers progressive Jewish identity through Jewish cultural engagement, Yiddish language learning, multigenerational education, and social justice activism. Returning to SeltzerFest as a 2025 fan favorite, their booth will provide fun, seltzer-themed games and activities.

Ken Rush, this year’s recipient of SeltzerFest’s Spirit of Eli Award, is an artist and writer with a love for all things seltzer. His picture book, The Seltzer Man, helps connect people who otherwise might be unfamiliar with the importance of seltzer. Ken will sell original seltzer- and NYC-related prints with funds to benefit the Brooklyn Seltzer Museum.

For Moshe Manies, seltzer has been his life. The relationships and connections it has forged for him allows him to talk about the importance of seltzer throughout the decades in NYC. His personal collection of old Seltzer bottles and related paraphernalia will be on display.

Moshe’s booth will also be home to the Meet-A-Seltzer-Man station. Every hour on the :30 drop by to chat and take a selfie with a classic New York City seltzer man. Expect to see: Walter Backerman (the 2025 recipient of the SeltzerFest 2025 Spirit of Eli award), Kenny Gomberg (Brooklyn Seltzer Boys), Larry Petker, Marvin Shindleman, and Larry Aloia (Triborough Beverage).

The Locavore Variety Store is a general store that specializes in products manufactured within 100-ish miles of NYC, in all categories. Come shop for old-school New York products, and a few special seltzer-themed items, and get recommendations for local shops.

The Museum at Eldridge Street is housed in the Eldridge Street Synagogue, a magnificent National Historic Landmark that is the only remaining marker of the great wave of Jewish migration to the Lower East Side that is open to a broad public who wishes to visit Jewish New York. Their booth will have three components: educating folks about the Museum, providing a fun family-friendly stained glass arts & crafts project, and a gift shop area.

Since 1980, Coney Island USA has developed and produced a variety of programming — including some of New York City’s best-loved summer events and programs, such as the Mermaid Parade, the Coney Island Circus Sideshow, and the Coney Island Museum.

The Neighborhood: An Urban Center for Jewish Life is a creative and inclusive Jewish community, gathering people together for inventive and unexpected Jewish arts, culture, and spirituality. A long-time partner of the Brooklyn Seltzer Musuem, their booth will highlight the Jewish strands in the history of seltzer and the role of seltzer as part of the panorama of Jewish food in NYC, giving out seltzer candy and make-your-own seltzer buttons.

The Philly-based Franklin Fountain won the 1st Egg Cream Invitational in 2024 and returns with a booth representing their working historic 1920s era soda fountain and seasonal 1930s era dairy bar. Their booth will provide Merch Sales, Vintage Glass Seltzer Bottles, House Soda Syrup Sales, Book Sales, Culture Support, Networking, Education, and Entertainment.

The PJ Library sends free high-quality Jewish children’s books to families every month. These stories spark conversations that inspire the whole family to explore and celebrate what they love about Jewish life. Every child in your household from birth to age 12 is eligible to receive their own book, completely free! Everyone is welcome to come to their booth to receive free books that relate to Jewish culture or New York history.

Charlie Chaplin's Little Tramp: Jon Koons—dubbed “Renaissance Man” by the media and awarded the title of “NYC’s Plum Craziest Performer”—has been onstage since age nine, performing as an actor and singer on Broadway, Off-Broadway and appearing in film, TV, commercials and performances around the world. At SeltzerFest he’ll be clowning his way through the booths, and if you watch closely, you just might spot him sneaking into the Egg Cream Invitational.

Flavored Seltzer Tasting Challenge: Join friends and loved ones in the Flavored Seltzer Tasting Challenge. Think you can guess more flavors in a blind taste test? Is that pineapple seltzer or raspberry? Orange vanilla or pomegranate? It's harder than you think!
